St Richards Hospital
St Richards Hospital has both a labour ward and an MLU (midwife led unit) or Birth Centre.
Both are located within the same building.
St Richards Maternity Unit also has 4 private rooms which can be used for a nightly fee if available.
Parking at St Richards can be busy, but you can usually pull-up directly outside of the maternity unit and get yourself settled on the ward before having to move your car into a paid space.
Parking is paid for when you leave, so keep your ticket handy. There is a machine just outside of the Maternity unit, and there are also machines on the other side of the car park, outside the Urgent Care Unit.
There is a Costa coffee in the main hospital, but this is a separate building (joined by a covered walkway) to the maternity unit.
