The Postnatal Package

£600 + travel expenses

Having dedicated care and support as you recover from birthing your baby and adjust to life with a newborn is one of the best ways to ensure a positive start to parenthood.

Every mother deserves to be mothered and I am passionate about caring for women and their babies during the fourth trimester.

This package has been created to offer emotional and practical support as you establish your new family dynamic and form important bonds with your baby.

Please don't hesitate to get in touch and ask me for a personalised care plan and quote to suit your requirements.

Initial Meeting

45 mins via Zoom

This is an introductory call, so that we can establish what kind of support you are looking for and if there is anything I should be aware of in advance, such as your birth plan e.g. a caesarean birth requires different postnatal care etc.

2x hours Preliminary Meeting

At some point before your baby is born, I will come for a preliminary session at your house. The aim of this session is so that we may familiarise ourselves with one another in person, you can show me around your home and introduce me to other household members, children and pets. It's good to get an idea of your family dynamics and routine, and I tend to ask questions about food, allergies, medical conditions and where the hoover lives etc! On another level, this is a good time to make sure we feel at ease with each other, and it means that I am not a stranger walking into your newborn baby bubble once little one is here and the support begins.

18x Postnatal Care Hours

Suggested as 6x 3hr visits (min 3hr per visit, max 5hr per visit)

Postnatal care is whatever you need at each visit. This might look like light housework, making lunch and prepping dinner, doing some laundry and restocking all of your nappy supplies. I could take care of your pets and pick up older children  from school, even grab your click and collect grocery shopping and unpack it all for you.

Other times, it might involve me taking care of your baby so that you can catch up on some sleep, relax in a bath or get on with whatever you feel the need to do to feel more like yourself. I'm happy to take baby for a nap-walk or accompany you on that first solo outing with your newborn.

I can support you in all aspects of baby care, advise on breastfeeding, help you to get the hang of baby-wearing and accompany you to postnatal appointments and check-ups. I have an extensive network of local businesses and complimentary therapists that I can recommend, as well as baby and toddler groups so that you can find your village.

Essentially, it's your time, so you decide how you'd like to use it.

PLUS virtual support via WhatsApp for the first 4 weeks of your postnatal period.
